Privacy at Vinkm

Your data is yours, and we treat it that way. Here is exactly who can see it and where it lives.

Who has access

Only two parties can ever reach your data:

  1. People with accounts on your Vinkm environment, these are your admins and users, controlled entirely by you.
  2. Vinkm, so we can provide support and recover data in case of emergency or failure.

Where your data is hosted

All other features run on a server controlled by Vinkm, hosted by Hetzner in Germany. Your data stays within the European Economic Area (EEA) at all times.

System messages and infrastructure

For domain management, DNS routing, and automated sending of transactional emails (such as one-time passwords), we use mijn.host. This party only processes the email addresses and network data necessary for that purpose.

AI features

AI features are hosted by Prem, a Swiss AI company that focuses entirely on security and applies a zero data retention policy. This means your data is never stored, logged, or used for training.

In short

  • Only account holders and Vinkm have access to your data.
  • Hosting is in the EU (Hetzner, Germany).
  • AI runs on infrastructure in Switzerland with zero data retention.
  • Your data never leaves the EU.
